Once finished school, Jessica completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba Campus. During this time she competed at a Brisbane based Calisthenics club winning the state aggregate as well as taking multiple classes in various dance forms including Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop.

She is now a secondary dance teacher at Saint Mary's Catholic College, lead instructor of their Performance Team and the Curriculum Learning Leader for The Arts. Jessica established Western Stars Cali Dance Studio in November 2018. She believes Calisthenics is a beautiful artistic sport that develops life-long friendships, skills and self-confidence. Jessica is committed to providing a positive, caring, nurturing environment for pupils of all ages to grow and develop their performance skills. “Witnessing a young child accomplish something they never thought possible, brings me such joy. I love how I can share thesse special moments with dancers but also their friends and family as well. It truly is a magnificent gift."
